Brain Scott

My main role in the group is taking care of field related activities for our student and breeding projects. Which includes everything from design and layout to planting and harvesting of the trials/projects.

Prior to working in the Singh Lab I worked for Monsanto and AgReliant Genetics, mainly working with yield trails but also with nurseries and pathology projects.

What I like most about working in the Singh Lab is not our only fearlessness and ability to take on projects that are quite large and challenging but also our ability to adapt and use futuristic approaches to solving the challenges we currently face in our agriculture systems.

In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, doing pretty much anything and everything from fishing and hunting to canoeing rivers and playing catch with my dog Buck.
